Last night I had some time to watch TV. I watched a little bit of “Im a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.”   I turned the channel when I found out that “Speidi ” might be returning to the show.  So annoying!!!  Spencer Pratt was named the most awful celeb in Hollywood by an E online Poll.  Beating out Octo Mom. I agree with Chesley Lately, Spencer does look like Harry from “Harry and the Henderson”s.” 

The other morning  we were discussing the story about a plane from Texis bound for Greenville. The pilot spotted an object flying beneath the plane. Was this an unidentified flying object? Nothing was was seen on radar. Could Greenville SC become the new Rozzwell?  I hope so, if they are cute aliens. E.T. and Mork are loveable ones.  There are other planets. Why not other beings?

I have developed an annoying habit of pulling my fiance’s chest hair.  I also love to and give him a snuggie.   I like to give  him one by and catch him off guard.  These are two things that I know that bug him.  We are a very playful couple. It is fun to tease each other.  When he says knock it off,  I want to do it again.   So, when I see him tonight I must resist temptation.  I must keep my hands to myself.  I don’t like my bra snapped or having my panties pulled up my butt… either. It is always fun when you do it to someone else.   We are both laughing but deep down in side I know he is thinking that if I wasn’t a girl he would kick my ass. 

I might start a support group.

Findings released in a study published in the International Journal Of Epidemiology have made some people upset.    Scientist in London report that the rising number of fat people are the cause for global warming.  In this study scientist warned that the increase in big-eaters means more food production, therefore a major cause of CO2 gas emissions warming the planet.  Fat people are more likely to drive, adding to environmental damage. Having a huge body is like driving in a gas guzzler.  Each fat person is said to be responsible for emitting a ton more of climate-warming carbon dioxide per year than a thin person.  Oxfam warned yesterday that the number of people  hit by climate-related disasters will soar by more than a half in the next six years to 375 million. The impact of more storms, floods and droughts could overwhelm aid organizations.

Basically, we have ”super-sized” ourselves to death.  How much environmental damage have we caused on the Rise Guys Morning Show? We have a case study. 

I read a story on line today.  I thought it might make you think about that special someone.    As Americans, our lives are so hectic and busy that we often take things for granted.   This story is about the ultimate sacrifice.  ” I love you so much, that I would take a bullet for you. ”  I have heard that statement before.  Here is a couple who literally did it for each other.

(AP)   A couple in Afghanistan has been executed for trying to elope.  A Taliban firing squad armed with A-K47’s killed the couple in front of a crowd.  The couple had been caught trying to flee to Iran to get married.   The story is so sad.  It is like a modern version of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.  

I am tired of self-involved people. The world doesn’t revolve around just one person. I found this story.  I hope it makes you think before you do something stupid. A woman commits suicide, lands on a teen at  a NYC mall.  The woman jumped from the third floor. She jumped to her death inside a busy New York City mall  landed on a teenager, causing injuries that sent him to a hospital.  The lower level of the Queens Center mall was packed full with high school students on spring break when the woman jumped.  17 year old Derrick Munoz had been sitting in a message chair with a sign reading, “sit back and relax,” when the woman landed him.  Derrick was briefly knocked unconscious and has a large gash on his head.

I think I have seen it all.  There is now an Obama Chia Pet. Matt made a comment about this very topic earlier this week.  We did a news story on Obama Chicken Fingers being sold on the menu at a restaurant in Germany.  Matt said that Obama would be making a ton of profit off of his Presidency.  I said, I thought that President Obama doesn’t have the time to worry about how he is being marketed.  Can you imagine the money he can make on the home shopping network.

Def Leppard, Poison, and Cheap Trick are getting ready to start touring in June.  They will be at the VWA Aug. 8th in Charlotte. Already, there are rumours of Joe Elliot and Brett Micheals are butting heads.  Joe Elliot says he was misquoted in the press.  He implied that Poison is a “fluff” band.  He said, that Poison was a band that was more about image then substance. Well to make a long story short,  they “Kissed and Made Up.”  Neither one of them are them are that deep.   Maybe Joe should get his own VH1 show.   They both are typical 80’s bands.  They both use the same rock/ballard approach to music.    This reminds me of a situation I got involved in in High School.  Two guys were fighting  at a party over calling each other pansies.   The night ended in the emergency room with one broken nose.   I drove the idot to the hospital.

Motley Crue rocked the Bi Lo Center with fireworks and flames.  It was almost like going back to 1987.  They had the look-80’s big hair and leather.   It was kind of tough to watch grown up men in their 40’s and 50’s sing “Shout at the Devil.”  They are middle aged men with children.  Who are they rebelling against?  We hate rehab!!  George Bush isn’t the President anymore.  It is better when bands just play music and don’t get into religion and politics.  I know its just a show. The show was good for the most part.  I liked the fact that they still were in touch with their fans.  Everyone except for Mick came out to talk to the fans.  Mick was the best part of the show.  The quy is still amazing.  Mick can still shred a guitar even though he can’t move his torso.  

 I read an article about a woman with two husbands.  For me one is plenty.  It sounds cool at first to have two husbands. … “Big Love. ” Then,  I think of the reality two men snoring and farting in the bed.  Who would end up with the covers in the middle of the night? The toilet lid would never be set down.  Two guys stinking up a bathroom!!!  Maybe if I had two husbands the garbage would always be taken out.  The yard would look amazing.  Repairs would always be  done.  You would never be able to a watch chick flick.  I couldn’t watch ”Sex and the City ” reruns. Forget watching Amercian’s Top Model or Housewives of Orange County.
